Hi, I’m Rylee — owner of Posies.

Our journey began with Posies, a beloved flower and plant shop that’s been rooted in Nelson and Castlegar BC since 1998. After years of serving our amazing local community, we created Rootsia as a sister company here in Grande Prairie — a way to share our favorite finds and plant-loving energy beyond the brick and mortar.

My personal obsession with starting seeds, growing plants, and the whole process of trial and error led me deeper into the world of flowers and greenery. As I transitioned into the retail space, I noticed people consistently gravitating toward certain items. That’s when I thought: Why not share these gems beyond the shop walls?

And so, Rootsia was born — a curated collection of the things I truly love:
Decor that adds personality.
Plants that breathe life into any room.
Seeds for those curious to grow.
And self-care items like natural soaps and salt soaks to bring a little calm to your day.
